STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE Title: Air Sampler

1. Purpose

It is established to provide guideline for the use of air sample.

2. Scope

It is applicable for air sampling in sterile area.

3. Responsibilities

1. Manager Q.C
2. Microbiologist.

4. Procedure
1. Press the white colored on/off button.
2. Open sampler head of air sampler and fix prepared again media Petri dish having size 90x20mm
3. From “sample air sample” option go to sample size option and put quantity 100 L/min run for 10 min in particular area.
4. Remove dish through opening of sampling head cover the dish and do mark the dish indivisually for specific area identification.
5. Incubate the plates for 48 hours at 30ºC -35ºC
6. Count the colonies for specific area and count the growth.

5. Precautions:
1. Hold tightly during use.
2. Mopp upper head before use.
